Descriptions
Steel is an extremely important material and used in most buildings, especially in industrial buildings where the steel structure is the main bearing structure.
The steel has a strong structure, high stability but it is also extremely dangerous when there is a fire. When the combustion temperature reaches 550ºC, the steel starts to melt, resulting in the structure being broken. Therefore, there is a need for a solution that ensures the safety of steel structures, which makes them able to withstand longer periods in high temperatures and we have opportunity to extinguish fires or escape safely – and Remak® Rockwool FPS is the perfect solution for Structural Steel.
